Overview: “The unemployment rate for those 55 and older fell to 6.8 percent in January, down from 7.2 percent in December, reports the AARP Bulletin. For those ages 45 to 54, the jobless rate dropped to 7.6 percent last month from 7.9 percent a month earlier.”
