Overview: “In most elections, older voters tend to commit early and form a base for one candidate or the other.This year, Boomers form an outsized bloc of swing voters and may well decide the winner of the White House. Neither Sen. John McCain or Sen. Barack Obama can afford to take 50-plus voters for granted and both candidates need to do a better job of explaining their positions on the issues better.”
