We have heard from several of our readers that our site has been suffering from “OSF.” (Over-active Spam Filter.) In effect, when they try to post a comment to the blog, they receive a message telling them that they’ve been submitting too many blogs and are therefore being blocked.

We have been able to assure those individuals who have let us know that this has happened that this is a technical glitch, not a judgment call. But for those of you who may have tried and been unintentionally rejected, here’s the scoop.
Our tech folks have figured out that the confirmation page takes a moment to load. If the commenter hits “Post” more than once in the interim, the computer thinks they’re a spam bot.
Please forgive us while we work out this issue on our end. Meanwhile, please post away as much and often as you’d like, but hit “Post” just once per time.
