Overview: “A panel of fellow legislators has agreed with state Rep. Helen Miller’s notion that Baby Boomers can be an asset to Iowa’s economy. The House Economic Growth Committee on Wednesday unanimously passed a modified version of the Fort Dodge Democrat’s plan to get the state actively recruiting people from that generation.”

Many Boomers are retiring from one career, but taking up another -- perhaps something they've always wanted to do, but haven't had time for, like writing.
