Kudos to Enablex, for the most creative, effective marketing at the recent AARP convention in Boston (Life@50+). (More on the convention in a subsequent blog…)

Enablex placed posters and brochures featuring their slogan “Life, less interrupted” inside the entrances to the women’s bathrooms—exactly where women get trapped in long lines, and are most receptive to the promise of the drug.
In case you haven’t already guessed, Enablex treats the symptoms of Overactive Bladder, such as strong, sudden urges and frequent bathroom trips.
To prove that this was smart marketing, take this case in point. I grabbed the brochure to blog about it, and stuffed it into my purse. Shortly thereafter, I had a lunch date with a professional acquaintance. During the course of lunch, she excused herself once, then twice to pee. I kept my mouth shut. But when it came to the third trip, I couldn’t resist the temptation and handed her the brochure. We both laughed—and subsequently fought over the $25.00 coupon towards the first purchase. Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation: You done good.
