It's about time we appreciated older women
Anita Creamer
The Sacramento Bee
January 28, 2007

Overview: Creamer discusses the Academy Award nominees for best actress and how they encourage baby boomer women. She writes, “What this means, of course, isn't simply that the world at large has finally discovered that women past 40 still exist. More than that, the world's also figured out that we have money to spend. Lots and lots of money. Which we're more than happy to shell out for spackle, shellac and other cosmetic products that can help us hang on to our looks a little longer. We'd like to look as young as we feel.”

Sara Silver
The Wall Street Journal
January 27, 2007

Overview: Silver reports on the popularity of online dating. “Match's success in targeting older daters, as well as other overlooked markets such as divorcees and suburbanites, also reflects a maturing Web industry that is expanding beyond its fixation on the very young and tapping other demographics, including the wealthy market of boomers. That's an especially promising strategy for a Web site that depends on fees, not the youth-obsessed ad industry.”
